Julian Simmonds is a photographer based in Wapping, East London. He has worked for The Telegraph for 30 years, and previously The Times, BBC and Blitz Magazine, covering a range of assignments in 130 countries from hard news portraiture and feature work.
He is close to completing the shooting for a book on European Independence Days, which has taken him around Europe on each country's own national holiday.
