If you are a member, please log in to access additional, potentially lower registration fee options.
About this event
After her fabulous talk earlier this year, Alys has agreed to return to comment on submissions from our storytelling project. The evening will be run as a workshop and some five members will be asked to talk about their project and have a live dialogue with Alys on Zoom. This will be a very interesting and informative session. You do not need to have submitted a story in order to participate. Questions will be taken from the floor throughout the evening. YOU NEED TO REGISTER, PLEASE!
Since Alys was last with us, images from her latest project
Lost Summer have won an award in this years International Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize. In November Alys was notified that she is a recipient of a grant for her documentary film 'Sister Vera' from the prestigious
Sundance Institute This will allow her to continue with the wonderful project that she shared with us last time she visited.
On Monday the 14th of December, the evening before our event, Alys will be giving a talk at the
Martin Parr Foundation tickets are available until the 12th of December (from £3.00).
