Management Committee

At the most recent Annual General Meeting members elected these folk who serve on the Management Committee.

Chair

Paul Shelley: Paul has a background in town planning and property development consultancy. He has been a member of the society since 2015. He posts a daily photography blog and is the accredited photographer for the Friends of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Paul was elected Chair in 2019.


Secretary


Mike Kingston
: Mike has been Secretary since 2015.


Treasurer


Hilary Barton LRPS
: an enthusiastic maker of photo-books with a good knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom, Hilary took on the role of Treasurer in 2014. She leads on all aspects of financial management and advises the Management Committee on budget setting.


Programme


Richard Eyers
: Richard has been interested in photography for many years, and joined the Society in 2017 to re-kindle a passion for photography after returning to London from working overseas. He is an enthusiastic photographer, and enjoys attending exhibitions and talks on any aspect of photography.


Membership


Ilya Fisher
: Ilya helps out with new memberships to the Society. Her interest is in fine art photography. She has been a member since 2015.


Marketing & Communications


Chris Jepson ARPS
: a professional portrait and documentary photographer for over 20 years, Chris is passionate about photographing people. Whether at work, at play, in music concerts or faith buildings Chris' images have been published in newspapers and magazines across the world. He joined the Society in 2016 to meet and socialise with more photographers and now works with the committee on marketing and communications.


Internal Competitions


Rob Wilkinson
: not long after joining the Society Rob stepped up to fill a mid-year vacancy in this role, subsequently being elected at the 2019 AGM. He also manages our Pick of the Week group on Flickr.


External Competitions


Susi Luard ARPS
: Susi has been a member of our society since late 2012 when she started taking an interest in photography. She has also served as secretary to the society in the past.  She was awarded the LRPS distinction in 2015 and ARPS (Travel) distinction in 2016 by the Royal Photographic Society.  She has taken part in a number of RPS London Region projects and her work has been published in a few RPS publications.


Resources


Dennis Law
: Dennis joined the committee in 2018, taking care of many of the practical matters that ensure our meetings run smoothly.


Webmaster


John Murray
: John joined the Society in 2015 to improve his photography, which has been one of his main hobbies since he was a lad. By profession he is a software engineer, which comes in handy for his committee role of Webmaster.
