We were delighted to see one another again after 16 months. 24 members found their way to Canary Wharf from all ends of the country despite the weather forecast. At 6pm, as if on cue, the heavens opened and we were soaked before we started. However, nothing could dampen our enthusiasm and we set off on Lisa's well-planned walk, which included gardens and docks and skyscrapers, and eventually even some sunshine.
As well as the architecture and reflections everywhere there were lots of people to watch.
Our chairman, Paul, gave us a masterclass in street portraiture, and few hardy souls made it as far as the final watering hole.
Many thanks to Hilary, Richard, Margaret and Paul for the images.
At our next meeting on 20th July, w
e will each submit our best images from the evening. We will then split into groups and decide which images to carry forward to the second half of the evening. Everyone will have an opportunity to present their images and everyone will have one image put forward to the second half of the evening. If you didn't join the walk or haven't entered images, you will still be welcome to join a group.
