Meet at Bank Station in front of the Royal Exchange at 6.30pm. Here we will spend some time photographing - taking in the bustle and the surrounding buildings.
We will move on at 6.45pm along Threadneedle Street to the Gherkin, where we will spend some time wandering round the piazza.
From the Gherkin, we proceed along St Mary Axe and Lime Street to Leadenhall Market, taking in the Leadenhall Building, the Scalpel, Lloyds of London, and more… on the way. We will spend some time at Leadenhall Market before moving on to London Bridge, via the Walkie Talkie building and Monument.
After taking in the views from London Bridge, we will descend the (relatively) new London Bridge Staircase to the Thames Path north bank, and walk along the river to the Tower of London, taking in the views at river level.
From the Tower of London we can repair to The Liberty Bounds (Wetherspoon) for appropriate refreshment and sustenance.
(Tower Hill underground station and Tower Gateway DLR are both a couple of minutes walk away, as well as buses in all directions.)
