Despite current constraints we want the Society to continue with 'walkabouts' which have been very popular in the past. At the second meeting in August we will then review the photographs generated from the walkabout - as outlined below.
As we can't meet in large numbers, we are proposing a split into six groups. The intention is that there will be a maximum of five people in each physical group.
You can see the proposed groups in the "Activities/Items" section above.
THE INTENTION IS THAT EACH GROUP WILL PICK A TOPIC TO COMMUNICATE THE ESSENCE OF THE AREA THAT THEY VISIT.
Five will meet in London at 6.30pm, and the sixth will be virtual - for those who cannot make a physical London destination.
The groups are based very generally on where members live, on the presumption that people may not want to travel very far at this time. Of course, if you would prefer to cycle or drive to join another group, you are welcome to do so.
If too many people select to join a group, we will divide the group up. So, it would be REALLY HELPFUL if you could at least register your intention of which group you would like to join as soon as possible - so that we can do the 'juggling'.
On the 18th of August, we will all meet on Zoom to review. To read more about that event,
